Ferroplan Oy made a huge digital leap in a short period of time and digitalised pallet stacker management with Lunni360 software

Ferroplan Oy designs and manufactures Finland's leading conveyor solutions for handling piece and bulk goods. Ferroplan's customised conveyor solutions ensure the functionality of customers' material flows and services include not only various types of conveyors but also maintenance with Ferro Care.

Before Lunnia equipment management was in excel spreadsheets and all the information was maintained there. In practice, data management was laborious and time-consuming, with multiple locations and systems to enter data into, which meant that not all those who needed it had access to up-to-date information. Ferroplan wanted to streamline processes and provide a better service to customers while making the work of maintenance and sales easier.

How did Lunni solve equipment and maintenance data management?

Ferroplan decided to digitalise the management of their pallet stackers with the Lunni360 solution and wanted to have all equipment-related data and maintenance easily recorded in one system, as well as to streamline the management of equipment data and maintenance. It was particularly important that sales and maintenance had up-to-date information on equipment history and future and past maintenance. Lunn's cloud service works in a modern way and serves the growing company also on mobile devices. The field service team reads the qr-codes of the equipment at the customer site and easily records the work done in Lunn's organisation, where it is immediately available to the whole team. The implementation was quick and went smoothly, as Ferroplan's goals were clear and the team using Lunn was involved in the planning phase and had a say in how previous challenges were overcome.
